Most Valuable Players | |
The City of Reno Adult Baseball League is proud to announce the Winners of our MVP awards.
This was one of the tougher years for me to make the decsion on whom would win both of the MVP awards.
On the Most Valuable Player, Neilson was on fire most of the year, Summy
was Mr. Consistency, Dow was always a threat at the plate and Chris Wiskerchen
just flat out hit the ball.
But when it came down to who was the Most Valuable
to his team, it had to be Chad Bartek, he carried the load both offensively and pitching and picked up his team when
they lost one of their own. Congratulations to Chad Bartek our 2004 Most Valuable Player.
Our "Shaun Perkins Most Valuable Pitcher" award was tough as well, Nick Troy pitched as well as anyone but didn't get
the offensive support he needed, Wagner pitched well for the Brewers and Steve O'brien pitched great for the Hustlers.
When you needed lights out Luke Drakulich was the answer, 2.01 ERA, does not walk a batter and was without a doubt our
leagues Most Valuable Pitcher. Congratulations to both of our well deserved winners and to our all-league team.
